Our Store
Our storefront, which offers clean, recycled, and reclaimed objects for art projects at little to no cost, is currently open by appointment most Saturdays from 12 - 2 PM.* The primary goal of the storefront is landfill diversion. Materials are collected from the public via individuals, local businesses, industries, and local partners. We then sort, organize and display items for the community to access either for free or for a low-cost donation. Students who participate in our school workshops are given a coupon for free materials to continue their creativity at home. These materials can inspire art, problem-solving, and many STEM/STEAM activities. *Update: During pandemic, our Saturday store under modifications. If you need specific materials, you can make an appointment via email. On occasion we offer a “FREE MATERIALS” table on Saturdays from 12pm-2pm.
Art FORM is dedicated to helping promote arts instruction and environmental awareness in San Diego schools. A surplus of materials exists for arts instruction and other projects, but organizing, sorting, and making available this surplus and highlighting its potential reuse is a primary goal. Art instruction with the creative reuse of these materials makes this a unique and vital program for San Diego schools and the community.
